8.5. Swapping Highlights In and Out of Different Positions

Log into your website and click Highlights on the left side of the screen. Here, you’ll see a list of your Highlights. Three of these Highlights should be published and the rest should have the word Draft next to their titles.

Replace a Published Highlight

To replace a published Highlight with one that is currently in draft mode:

  1. Click the title of the published Highlight you wish to swap out.

  2. Above the Update button, click Edit next to the word Published.

  3. Select Draft from the drop-down menu, then click OK.

  4. Click Update.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of this page and note the Column # in which the Highlight was displayed.

    At this point, you have removed one of the Highlights from the home page and now need to publish a different one in its place.

  6. Click Highlights at left to return to your list of Highlights.

  7. Click the title of the Highlight you wish to publish.

  8. Scroll to the bottom of this page and select the Column # that was used for the Highlight your just set to Draft.

  9. Click Publish.

Swap Two Published Highlights

If you wish to swap positions of two published Highlights:

  1. On the home page of your website, note which columns your Highlights currently appear in:

    • Left-most column: Column 1

    • Centre column: Column 2

    • Right-most column: Column 3

  2. Go to your Dashboard and click Highlights on the left-side of the screen.

  3. Hover over the title of one of the Highlights you wish to move. Click Quick Edit.

  4. In the Position drop-down menu, select the column number you wish this Highlight to appear in. Click Update.

  5. Hover over the title of the other Highlight you wish to move. Click Quick Edit.

  6. In the Position drop-down menu, select the column number you wish this Highlight to appear in. Click Update
