Before logging into Evergreen, you must first register a workstation from your browser.

  1. Navigate to the web client log in page.
  2. Enter Username and Password → Click Sign In

  3. When you login for the first time on a new computer or a new server you will be prompted to register your workstation.
  4. Choose your library short code from the drop down menu.

  5. Enter a unique workstation name → Click Register.

  6. The new workstation is listed in the Workstations Registered With This Browser menu → click Use Now to return to the login page.

  7. Your newly-registered workstation should be selected by default on the login page.



Local System Administrator permissions are required to register a new workstation.

Logging into Evergreen

  1. The default URL to log into the client is
  2. Enter your Username and Password.
  3. Verify that the correct workstation is selected and click Sign In.


Logging Out of Evergreen

  1. Click Menu → Click Log Out



Exiting all browser windows will automatically log you out of the web client. If you only close the tab where the web client is loaded, you will remain logged in.

Change Operator

  1. Click Menu → Click Change Operator

  2. Enter the Username and Password.
  3. Choose Login Type from the drop down menu.

    1. Temporary -
    2. Staff -
    3. Persistent -

  4. Click OK/Continue
