You may suppress some item alerts from showing up on the corresponding staff action. For example, you may choose to suppress the alert when checking out a missing item.
- Go to Administration → Local Administration → Item Alert Suppression.
Item alert suppressions are displayed for your workstation’s library. Multi-branch libraries need to set the library to their system in the library selector and check the box to display descendants.
Click New Item Alert Suppression.
- In the pop-up window, select the Alert Type from the dropdown list.
- Make sure your library is in the Org Unit box.
Click Save.
